Famous BBC Breakfast host Bill Turnbull dies aged 66
Bill Turnbull hosted BBC Breakfast in both London and then Salford for 15 years, as well as Songs of Praise and the quiz programme Think Tank.
He joined Classic FM after leaving the BBC Breakfast in 2016 and continues to host shows on the network up until recently.
He was endearing and at ease, and he successfully juggled his roles as an interviewer and a shrewd, astute reporter.
He was full of wonderful advice, and it was evident how much he was adored by both his coworkers and the audience.
Bill Turnbull also participated in an edition of the BBC One quiz show School's Out on August 11, 2007.
He participated in Professor Green's music video for "Remedy" in 2012.
He released The Bad Beekeepers Club, a comic book on the ups and downs of beekeeping, in May 2010.
